Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough physical exams and patient observations to identify health issues and develop effective care plans.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms to inform treatment decisions.
  • Create and implement patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Detect changes in patient health and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Administer medications and treatments, evaluating patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Train patients and families on managing pain and promoting healthy habits.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • RN licensure in Texas and board certification by ANCC or AANP.
  • Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but not required.
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience and credentials are required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
