Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough physical exams and patient observations to identify health issues and develop effective care plans.
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms to inform treatment decisions.
- Create and implement patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Detect changes in patient health and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments, evaluating patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Consult with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Train patients and families on managing pain and promoting healthy habits.
- Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
- RN licensure in Texas and board certification by ANCC or AANP.
- Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but not required.
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience and credentials are required.
- 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
- No nights, weekends, or on-call shifts.
