Job Title: Registered Ultrasound Technologist

Join Luminis Health as a Registered Ultrasound Technologist and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in our Outpatient department.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine radiographic and ultrasound procedures in accordance with established safety and quality standards and the special needs of patients.
  2. Conduct ultrasound diagnostic procedures and routine ultrasound procedures within the designated time frame and in accordance with the established quality standards and needs of the office as well as the organization.
  3. Collaborate with the medical team to prepare patients for specific procedures and report problems relative to equipment, staffing, and productivity.
  4. Obtain pertinent clinical data prior to sonographic examination, supervise the scheduling and preparation of patients, and record significant data.
  5. Conduct daily calibration checks in the adjustment and maintenance of ultrasound and peripheral equipment and record results.
  6. Maintain a daily activities log and procedure manual; compile data and issue monthly reports as required.
  7. Ensure compliance with organizational and office-specific safety policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a one-year program in Ultrasound Technology.
  • Two years full-time as a clinical sonographer in a Maternal and Fetal Medicine environment is preferred.
Preferred Certifications:
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Certification in Physics, OB-GYN by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) required.
  • Preferred but not required additional certifications in the following: Nuchal Translucency (NT) and Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
