As a Data Management Specialist - Patient Care, you'll play a vital role in organizing and maintaining health information data, ensuring it's accurate, accessible, and secure. This position requires maintaining patient records and supporting compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain patient health information and medical records.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of health records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Participate in audits to verify the integrity of health information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate the exchange of patient information.
  • Train staff on proper documentation practices and health information management.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or a related field; certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) is preferred.
  • Experience in health information management or medical records, with familiarity in coding and billing processes.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and health information management software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
