Endodontic Clinical Assistant

At Chesapeake Dental Specialists, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients requiring specialized dental services.
We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
The Endodontic Clinical Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist in clinical and administrative duties, including:
- Preparing patients for procedures or exams
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
- Setting up instrument trays
- Preparing materials and assisting during dental procedures
Additional Responsibilities
The Endodontic Clinical Assistant will also:
- Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
- Perform patient oral evaluations
- Take, develop, and mount accurate and high-quality X-rays
- Perform various laboratory duties, including provisional
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 1 year of Endo experience
- Dental assistant certification where required
- X-ray/Radiography certification
- Nitrous oxide certification preferred
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law
- Experience with relevant dental software
- High school diploma or equivalent
