Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Modality Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of MRI equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care and instructions before, during, and after procedures, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
- Imaging Protocols: Select and implement appropriate MRI protocols and scan parameters to produce high-quality images.
- Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Training and Education: Contribute to the training and education of new staff members and assist in the oversight of MRI students.
- Certification: Certification and Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Diagnostic Radiology with Advanced MRI Registry (MR) is required.
- Education: An Associate's degree from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited institute is preferred.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in an MRI department in a hospital setting is preferred.
