We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients using phlebotomy and capillary puncture techniques
  • Monitor patients for unexpected reactions and respond to emergent situations
  • Work with Medical Lab staff to provide efficient and timely collections
  • Provide other collection services including sweat chlorides, chain-of-custody, and ambulatory blood pressures
  • Interact with patients and visitors in a pleasant and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in high complexity medical lab performing specimen collection and computer data entry preferred
  • State of California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I required
  • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
