STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to drive quality control initiatives, develop test methods, and troubleshoot laboratory and product issues in compliance with ISO, FDA QSR, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols
- Train laboratory technicians and specialists on quality control best practices
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate test methods
- Support the development of raw material specifications and chemical testing procedures
- Lead failure investigations and equipment calibration efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as chemistry, biology, or engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in laboratory testing and quality control
- Knowledge of quality tools, including FMEA and Root Cause Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
