We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Temple Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks and day-to-day repairs of equipment, systems, and building configurations for the exterior of the building and the parking garage.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair stationary steam, chilled water, and cogeneration plant equipment, including fire tube boilers, electric centrifugal chillers, steam turbine centrifugal chillers, HVAC equipment, and associated physical plant equipment and controls.
- Manage tasks in a self-directed approach utilizing the computerized work order system and communicate with Leads and Managers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in maintenance and repair.
- Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Boiler License (or ability to obtain).
- Certification in a related field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, or mechanical).
- Experience with computerized work order systems.
