Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible individual to join our cleaning team. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow in your industry knowledge in janitorial services performed for a federal customer.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain cleanliness of all office, restrooms, and training areas per frequency schedule.
  • Maintains floors, sweep, mop, scrubbing, and Hi-Speeding per periodic schedule.
  • Traditional custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and light fixtures.
  • Restroom cleaning, replenishment of paper supplies, and soap using EPA-approved disinfectants.
  • Inspects areas for quality assurance per Custodial Log Book.
  • Operates floor maintenance equipment, buffers, stripper, backpack vacuum, and mop ringer.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the public.
  • Maintains inventory records of equipment and supplies as well as reordering.
  • Reliable transportation preferred.
  • May train others and performs related work as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

Overall Strength Demands: The following describes the overall strength demand of the functions performed by the incumbent during a typical workday. Light to medium lifting.

Compensation:

$10.03 to 14.21 per hour.

Workdays and Hours:

Mondays and Thursdays, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. One to Two Years of Experience.
