Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas, including the identification and mitigation of potential security risks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clientele, customers, vendors, and members of the public, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures, maintaining a high level of visibility and awareness.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents within designated areas, following required procedures and protocols.
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity reports, providing accurate and detailed information.
  • Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings, including ID badges and passes.
  • Wear Peak Alarm Company-issued uniform, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a Private Security License in the state of Utah or be willing to obtain one.
  • Clean background and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen.
  • Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team.
  • Able to stand and walk for the duration of their shift (6-12 hours).
  • Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Attend staff or client meetings that may be outside of normal shift hours.
  • Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Previous security-related work experience is a plus but not required.
