About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our vascular surgery department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient throughput and care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Contribute to staff development and education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of registered nurse experience in the Operating Room.
  • Vascular Surgery registered nurse experience is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
