ROLE SUMMARY

As an Estimator at ALLY Construction Services, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver thorough analysis and pricing for various construction projects. Your duties will encompass construction estimating, budgeting, and preparing bids for projects valued between $100K and $30M. Effective collaboration with architects, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams will be essential to achieve project goals. Additionally, you will be tasked with crafting competitive bids, nurturing relationships with subcontractors, and keeping abreast of market trends and developments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thoroughly review construction plans and drawings
  • Prepare conceptual estimates, competitive bids, and pricing evaluations
  • Conduct project walkthroughs to clarify the scope of work
  • Develop project timelines and maintain cost databases
  • Stay informed about construction materials, trends, and methodologies
  • Provide insights on achieving competitive advantages
  • Collaborate with teams on pricing strategies, bid submissions, and site assessments

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Expertise in estimating, communication, and budgeting
  • Familiarity with construction software tools, including Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in Life Sciences or manufacturing projects is advantageous
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are necessary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or Management is preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Compliance with corporate policies and employment standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
