About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geoscientist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our hydrogeology department, you will be responsible for leading field activities, overseeing well drilling and construction, and performing geophysical surveys and aquifer performance testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Field Operations: Lead field teams, overseeing the collection of soil, rock, and groundwater samples, and conducting geophysical surveys and aquifer performance testing.
  • Team Management: Supervise junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Interpret and analyze data, preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with senior staff, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or related field.
  • Experience: 2-6 years of relevant experience in hydrogeology, with a strong background in field operations and data analysis.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Certifications: Professional Geologist certification in the State of Florida, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and standard First Aid and CPR training.
