Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at Randstad. As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and payable, credit applications, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process credit applications and set up new customers in the ERP system
  • Post cash receipts daily within the ERP system and follow up on included correspondence
  • Coordinate with the collections specialist on invoices that have not been paid in full
  • Maintain customer files
  • Complete credit applications and set up new vendors within the ERP system
  • Review vendor statements and follow up on missing paperwork
  • Obtain approvals for distribution invoices and enter into the ERP system
  • Assist with vendor payments
  • Act as the main back up to the AP specialist
  • Maintain AP discrepancy log
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Process deposits within the ERP system and the banking system
  • Complete monthly activity reconciliations and research any discrepancies
  • Issue wire and ACH transactions within the banking system
  • Prepare monthly reports for customers
  • Assist customers with any questions, when necessary
Requirements
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Bachelor's degree
