Trauma Performance Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the highest level of trauma care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the trauma team to establish and maintain standards of trauma care, ensuring compliance with ACS guidelines.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement trauma care policies and procedures, providing guidance to nursing staff on best practices.
- Act as a resource and consultant to patient care areas, identifying and addressing complications related to trauma patients.
- Participate in educational activities, such as webinars and conferences, to stay current with trauma best practices.
- Provide outreach education and injury prevention to outlying communities, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
- Minimum of 2 years of trauma experience and 5 years of nursing experience in trauma, ER, ICU, or pre-hospital environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data management and analysis, with experience in trauma registry databases.
- Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License, with BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
