This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily clinical functions of the service line. The position requires collaboration across various departments to promote a multidisciplinary team approach. The Clinical Operations Manager will ensure the effective delivery of clinical services to patients across all care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and clinic environments.
Key responsibilities include managing the clinical services provided by staff throughout the continuum of care.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in vascular care, quality assurance, or operating room settings is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate the quality of patient care provided and assess the needs of patients and their families, ensuring a patient-centered approach.
2. Address and resolve complaints and conflicts effectively.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
4. Oversee staffing processes, including recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ongoing education.
5. Participate in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs.
6. Manage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Assess and justify the need for systems, equipment, and supplies, while monitoring their usage and maintenance.
7. Develop and implement a comprehensive patient education program and engage in research activities.

Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Required)
Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Multistate, Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Additional Information:
This position requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to cultivate positive relationships. The incumbent must demonstrate leadership capabilities and take appropriate actions when necessary.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a specialized nursing program, with at least one (1) year in a management or supervisory role preferred.
Other Considerations:
A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. Licensure must be valid in the State of Florida.
Working Conditions:
This role involves various physical demands, including:
- Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of patients weighing 35 pounds or more.
- Regular keyboard entry and repetitive movements of hands and arms.
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, and squatting.
- Exposure to biohazardous waste and potential communicable diseases.
