Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner-Medicine, Part-time

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Brigham & Women's Faulkner Hospital. As a key member of our inpatient General Medical Service team, you will work closely with attending physicians, residents, and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist attending physicians with daily patient rounds and monitor patient care.
- Write daily progress notes and implement attending physician instructions for patient management.
- Perform procedures within your scope of practice and as directed by the attending physician.
- Order and interpret laboratory testing and other special examinations as requested.
- Serve as a resource to the healthcare team for patient care issues.
- Collaborate with care coordinators for patient care referrals.
- Prepare succinct and accurate sign-out to facilitate smooth patient care transitions.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of discharging patients.
- Successful completion of a Graduate Level, accredited Physician Assistant Program approved by the AMA Board of Approval and Certification of PA programs.
- 4 years of college-level education and a baccalaureate degree or equivalent.
- Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of PA/NPs.
