We are seeking a highly organized and innovative individual to join our team as a Part-Time Access Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and coordinate services for students with disabilities, including accommodations and support services.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure accessibility and inclusivity in the classroom and campus environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to promote a culture of accessibility and inclusion.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to disability services.
- Associate degree required.
- Experience advising or working with students with disabilities.
- Demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in software applications such as SCT Banner.
