Essential Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities for Machine Operators:

  • Learn the fundamental operations of the machinery, including all safety features
  • Address basic troubleshooting of machine issues to maintain production flow
  • Conduct machine quality checks as necessary
  • Sort materials accurately according to instructions

Key Responsibilities for Insert Operators:

  • Understand quality review requirements and execute them effectively
  • Learn to resolve minor machine issues and restart machinery when needed
  • Ensure adequate material supply at the machine for uninterrupted production
  • Adhere to USPS sorting regulations for creating bundles, trays, and pallets
