Position Overview: Registered Nurse II - Riverview Primary Care
  • Deliver independent nursing care in alignment with physician directives and established protocols.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients and their families, adhering to the standards set by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, supervise, and document nursing care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with physician orders.

  • Support fellow nursing staff in delivering care and take on leadership roles as needed.

  • Understanding of the roles of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants.
  • Ability to assess the nursing needs of patients with acute and chronic conditions.

  • Proficient in teaching patients and families in line with nursing care plans.
  • Ability to process and prioritize clinical information efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or Associate's Degree) is required. Nurses without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within two years of hire and complete it within five years.

Experience:
A minimum of twelve months of relevant clinical experience is required. Exceptional performers with six months of experience may be considered at the discretion of management.

Licensure:
Current RN licensure in North Carolina is mandatory. BLS certification is also required.
