Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Specialist to join our team at Hotel Roanoke. As an Audio Visual Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of audio-visual experiences, including setting up and breaking down events, troubleshooting technical difficulties, and providing hands-on support during events.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute technical and digital enhancements to live and virtual experiences, including music, animations, video recording and editing, and other pre- and post-production elements as necessary.
- Set up and break down events, including conferences, meetings, and private functions, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the World of Whirlpool team on virtual experiences, including in-person meetings, to consult, innovate, and create creative aspects.
- Assist with the creation of digital assets necessary for virtual experiences or in-person meetings, including titles, graphics, music, sound design, etc.
- Oversee technical aspects of virtual experiences, including camera operation, Zoom hosting, directing, editing, and mixing pre-recorded content.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of audio-visual equipment and setup, including general use of laptops, projectors, microphones, and display monitors.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut, Avid, etc.
- Able to lift 50 pounds to a maximum height of 60 inches on a regular basis.
- Able to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail.
