Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Per Diem Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms to detect breast cancers and lesions
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain them to reduce anxieties
  • Move mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors
  • Practice radiation protection techniques and follow safety standards
  • Examine digital images for image quality and ensure equipment is in proper working order
  • Process routine paperwork and data entry, and participate in professional development activities

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in mammography
  • ARRT certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent patient care skills and ability to multitask
