Weis Markets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the pharmacy department, including supervising pharmacists and pharmacy associates, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the work of pharmacists and pharmacy associates to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality patient care.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and tracking pharmaceutical stock, to maximize profits and meet customer demand.
- Develop and implement clinical programs, such as immunization and medication therapy management, to grow script growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy district manager and staff to control inventories and optimize pharmacy operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling.
- Direct training, coaching, discipline, and management of all pharmacy associates.
- Maintain appropriate security of the pharmacy department.
- Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, and questions to build customer trust and loyalty.
- Bachelor's degree (BS) or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) in Pharmacy, or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of retail pharmacy experience, including immunization certification through an accredited organization.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
