Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of the Commercial Banking Executive is to enhance and maintain profitable banking relationships within the designated area. This role involves:

  • Driving revenue growth through the management of loans, deposits, and fees.
  • Reviewing loan applications and overseeing their underwriting process.

  • Developing annual budgets for the team.

Our Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Team is dedicated to serving local businesses, offering a range of competitive financial solutions, including Commercial Loans, Lines of Credit, Treasury Solutions, Acquisition Financing, Equipment Leasing, Owner-Occupied Commercial Real Estate, Small Business Lending, SBA, and other financing options. We pride ourselves on providing innovative and flexible solutions that help small and mid-sized businesses achieve their goals.

The Lending Team is structured by region, with a Commercial Banking Executive leading each team, which includes Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Administrators, and Underwriters. Our lenders possess expertise across various sectors, including government contracting, non-profits, educational financing, healthcare, and professional services.

Qualifications:
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of 5 additional years of relevant commercial lending experience.
  • A minimum of ten years in commercial underwriting, portfolio management, and business development.
  • Demonstrated success in a corporate sales environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of C&I, Real Estate, ABL, SBA, and Credit/Special Assets.
  • Proficiency in credit principles and loan structuring.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing business financial statements.
  • In-depth understanding of banking products and services.
  • Solid grasp of accounting and finance principles.
  • Effective sales, marketing, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership development capabilities.
  • Market awareness and knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred:

  • Certification from an Accredited Banking School in Lending or a related field.
