About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our development team and drive the strategic direction of our products. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for aligning development efforts with business goals, optimizing processes for efficiency and quality, and empowering your team to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and predictability.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build and mentor a high-performing development team, empowering them to take ownership of their work and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with product management, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, requirements, and timelines.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading development teams to deliver successful products and achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by this model.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective development strategies that align with business goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
