Job Overview
Tact Community Services Inc is seeking a highly motivated Behavioral Support Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in the success of our behavioral program in elementary schools. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating and implementing the program, providing support and coaching to teachers, and evaluating its effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Foster positive relationships with teachers and administrators; model the program and empower them to grow and sustain it in their buildings. Conduct regular site visits to provide support, coaching, modeling and feedback. Collaborate with district, funders and Supervisor to strengthen the program at each site. Document teacher and school progress through notes, data collection/entry and analysis. Provide professional development to school support staff and teaching staff through meetings, specialized training and booster sessions. Attend staff meetings and perform other duties at the request of Supervisor and Executive Director.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in educational, behavioral or other related human service field is required. Minimum of 5 years of school-based setting experience providing behavioral or educational programming, services to children; and leadership experience desirable. Demonstrated capacity in school-based program implementation, training, coaching and evaluation skills is necessary. Proficient oral and written communication skills, excellent time management, ability to build strong relationships, computer skills including Excel, leadership, highly organized and attentive to detail are also required.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $42,000 - $44,000 annually. This is a non-exempt position. We offer competitive benefits, including access to a reliable vehicle with insurance liability limits to meet requirements of job description. Valid NYS Driver License is required.
