About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at UTC ICE Sports Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our rink programs and merchandise sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a welcoming experience for regular and new customers alike, ensuring a positive and structured environment for skaters to return to again and again.
  • Program Promotion: Promote daily and seasonal rink programs with thorough knowledge of programs in all departments, including figure skating, youth and adult hockey, public sessions, birthday parties, private rentals, and more.
  • Sales and Service: Conduct daily ticket, membership, and merchandise sales using point of sales and online membership management systems.
  • Communication: Manage and coordinate in-person, phone, and interdepartmental communication, as well as administrative work including the use of Microsoft Office Suite and physical recordkeeping systems.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Energetic and enthusiastic personality, conversant with strangers, smiles, welcoming body language.
  • Communication Skills: Outgoing, friendly individuals who consistently deliver superior customer service, able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers of various ages.
  • Time Management Skills: Multitasking and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, grasp, reach, push/pull, walk, squat, and lift 25-50 lbs on an intermittent basis during scheduled shifts.
