Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive field assessments, including species surveys and habitat evaluations.
  • Perform wetland delineations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead field teams and coordinate data collection efforts.
  • Analyze ecological data and prepare detailed reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Travel to various project sites to execute fieldwork, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong interest in ecosystems and natural resource management.
  • Critical thinking skills to address complex environmental challenges.
  • Familiarity with the flora and fauna of the southeastern United States.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Field experience, including navigation in challenging terrains.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as wildlife biology, environmental science, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of applicable experience, is required.
