Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our MEP/S team, you will work alongside our engineers to create innovative designs that improve our communities. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports, plans, construction schedules, and studies for review.
  • Interface with clients when appropriate alongside project managers.
  • Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
  • Direct technicians and EITs for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.
  • Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.
  • Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
  • Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE #.
  • The ability to use Revit/BIM is required, and the ability to use Trane Trace 3D is preferred.
  • Previous mechanical building design experience in a consultant capacity is required.
