About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Construction Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality construction materials testing and geotechnical projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction materials testing and geotechnical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering successful projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee construction materials testing and geotechnical projects from start to finish
  • Work closely with clients, project teams, and laboratory staff to deliver successful projects
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocations for projects
  • Nurture and guide a team of skilled professionals and field-based personnel
  • Cultivate a robust local client base and expand professional network to drive revenue growth
  • Take the lead in local and regional business development endeavors
  • Craft meticulous field and laboratory cost estimates and proposals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, and Geotechnical projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards and procedures
  • Ability to work outside, maneuver equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds
