Job Overview
The Client Services Eligibility Analyst operates under general oversight and is tasked with assessing client eligibility, gathering necessary information, coordinating with service providers, and compiling recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Review service referrals and conduct interviews with applicants and their families to clarify eligibility criteria, assist with form completion, and provide information on community resources.
2. Request and analyze information to ascertain client eligibility or needs, forwarding requests for approval to the appropriate personnel in line with established protocols.
3. Offer guidance on available resources, assistance, and services to applicants, which may include home visits to evaluate client needs and provide behavioral counseling.
4. Schedule initial intake meetings with clients and/or their families post-eligibility determination to collect comprehensive information regarding their medical, financial, and psychological backgrounds.
5. Assess requests and professional evaluations according to policies and procedures, initiating actions to grant, modify, deny, or terminate eligibility for assistance, while providing recommendations and service options.
6. Develop individualized care plans and liaise with both private and public service providers for support.

Compliance and Policy Interpretation
Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, legal mandates, and agency policies. Act as a liaison to other divisions and agencies to formulate policies and procedures for community-based initiatives.

Qualifications
To qualify, candidates should possess a formal education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or a related discipline. Additional qualifications may be considered based on agency requirements, subject to approval by the Qualifications Review Committee.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with federal and state laws governing client eligibility for assistance programs.
- Understanding of community-based services and programs.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying policies and guidelines for eligibility determination.
- Capability to evaluate client information and assess needs effectively.
- Strong communication skills for preparing and presenting reports and information.
- Competence in conducting interviews and providing technical support.
- Proficiency in utilizing software for report generation and written communication.
