Job Overview
- The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for conducting a range of chemical, hematologic, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests according to established protocols and standards.
- Results are utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of various health conditions. All responsibilities are performed in alignment with the hospital's values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.
- Provides care and services in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and one to two years of relevant experience or training acceptable to ASCP or AMT. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist from ASCP or AMT is required within one year of employment.
Work Schedule
- Evening/Night Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays; 80 hours biweekly
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is outlined below. Actual pay rate will be determined based on experience.
- $41.50 per hour
