As a key member of the Clayens team, the Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products, managing budgets and resources, and leading a team of employees to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct and manage the overall operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Business Planning: Develop and implement annual business plans to improve quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Human Resources: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of employees, ensuring adequate staffing and training.
- Customer Relations: Represent the facility to clients, prospects, suppliers, and government agencies, ensuring excellent customer service and relationships.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure the facility meets or exceeds quality and safety standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term plans to ensure the continued success of the facility and the company.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics and injection molding.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of P&L and quality systems, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
