Position Overview We are looking for a capable and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Manager. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced Operations Manager with the drive and expertise to oversee daily activities, ensuring projects are completed successfully within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards while exceeding safety expectations. You will work collaboratively within a highly supportive project team in a company renowned for its excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and quality.
  • Facilitate project meetings, reporting on progress and evaluating client satisfaction.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Create subcontracts and issue purchase orders.
  • Develop scope and request for quote (RFQ) packages for subcontractors and vendors.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent to ensure adherence to contract documents and requirements.
  • Supervise supporting staff, including interviewing, training, and delegating tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, and ProCore.
  • General understanding of Construction Management and Design/Build contract delivery systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and structured work approach.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, blueprints, construction schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Successful management experience with moderately complex projects.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer or 5 years' experience as a Project Superintendent, along with an associate degree in a related field.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification.
  • LEED GA or AP certification preferred.
