We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective patient care, while also contributing to the development and implementation of pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication order verification, oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities, and provision of clinical pharmacy services for safe and efficient patient care.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, build positive professional relationships, and model teamwork.
- Ensure the accuracy of one's own work, maintain required competencies, and support the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and growth, and contribute to the discovery of new process efficiencies.
- Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
- PharmD required.
- CLIAFE compliance with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
- PGY1 residency completion preferred.
- At least 3 years of medium or large hospital experience strongly preferred.
- 1–2-year Acute Care Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- ACPE - IV Certification strongly preferred.
- PHAR - Pharmacist Upon Hire Required.
