QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of an accredited LPN program.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
New graduates from an accredited nursing program are welcome to apply.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Must possess a current LPN license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is mandatory.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated clinical proficiency in the relevant specialty area is preferred. Experience in a hospital environment is advantageous. For those working in the Emergency Department, ALS/ACLS and PALS certifications are required. LPNs new to the specialty must complete necessary certifications within six months of employment. Experienced Emergency Department nurses are given a six-month timeframe to obtain PALS certification.
