Responsibilities
  • Provide life skills training to groups or individual patients as assigned.
  • Offer special interest groups to stimulate patient interaction and involvement.
  • Provide craft activities to individual patients or groups as assigned.
  • Engage in active treatment programming.
  • Monitor patients during scheduled and free time activities.
  • Interact with patients in a socially appropriate manner.
  • Participate in unit treatment team planning.
  • Document critical incidents and treatment progress.
  • Participate in unit morning report and monthly unit staff meetings.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mental Health required.
  • Ability to effectively interact with institutional and clinical staff.
  • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirement.
  • Background check, security clearance, and drug screening required.
