Overview:


The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator position plays a vital role in supporting the project phase and operational activities of GMP Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at Fujifilm. This ensures that the necessary materials are accessible at the appropriate time and in the right quantities to facilitate process validations and GMP production.

This position aids in the materials planning process and direct procurement while collaborating with both internal and external partners regarding the status of material readiness.

The individual in this role is accountable for assisting the planning team and managing related tasks to initiate operations, transitioning into commercial activities. This includes, but is not limited to, establishing standard operating procedures, generating reports, creating material plans, managing projects, and fostering stakeholder relationships.

The role requires close collaboration with all stakeholders across Fujifilm to ensure accurate master data for both material and production planning within the SAP ERP system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops procedural activities for material procurement, including inventory and supplier oversight.
  • Provides system expertise for new material and Bill of Material (BOM) registration.
  • Manages fundamental production planning, including the execution of material MRP planning and overseeing production schedules for non-product contact processes.
  • Ensures material availability by effectively communicating with suppliers and internal clients to guarantee timely receipt and release of materials for manufacturing.
  • Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain.
  • Oversees procedural activities for material procurement, including supplier engagement, execution of material MRP planning, and converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders.
  • Ensures follow-up on material delivery and release for production processes, end to end.
  • Initiates solutions to address any issues related to material availability.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management OR
  • Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GMP regulations.
  • Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA or other SAP ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in data management and advanced Excel skills.
  • APICS training or certifications.
