Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Creative Composites Group. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet customer expectations by assuring the quality of finished parts and conformance to product requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality and conformance to product requirements.
  • Conduct receiving raw material inspections and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure accurate production and quality control.
  • Document all inspections and non-conformances, and provide QC data for customer submissions.
  • Identify non-conformances and generate QC reports to ensure prompt corrective action.
  • Communicate with Quality Manager and Production Supervisor to ensure effective quality control and process improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of ISO 9001 experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience using measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, gauges, etc.).
  • Basic computer skills (Email, Microsoft Office, ERP experience is a plus).
  • Ability to read measurements in English and Metric.
  • Ability to count and perform simple math operations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and pleasant demeanor when interacting with co-workers.
Work Environment

The Quality Control Inspector will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise. The employee will use various tools and equipment to perform their job, including tape measures, calipers, steel detectors, and personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands

The Quality Control Inspector will be required to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have good vision to see and respond to potential worksite hazards.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected for this position, and the employee must have a valid driver's license.
