Job Description

This is a part-time opportunity to work as an Ambulatory Clinic RN Care Coordinator at The University of Kansas Health System. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Management: You will be responsible for managing patient flow, triage, and direct patient care, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment.
  • Liaison Services: As a liaison between front desk staff, nursing staff, physicians, and clinic managers, you will facilitate clear communication and coordination to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Healthcare Coordination: You will develop expected patient outcomes, define appropriate resource utilization, and collaborate with providers to set patient goals, promoting high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2+ years of RN experience are required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
  • Licensure: A multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing is required, or active single state RN license with proof of application for a multi-state license.
