You are well-versed in all the club's amenities, features, and programs, and your primary responsibility is to cultivate enduring relationships with both prospective and existing members, ensuring they fully benefit from their Equinox experience.

Position Responsibilities

Full-time Membership Consultants are tasked with meeting or surpassing individual sales targets, renewals, and ancillary service objectives through strategic planning, in-club lead generation, and member referrals. Working under the guidance of a General Manager and alongside a supportive sales team, you will:

  • Sell club memberships effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Organize events and workshops to generate leads within the club.
  • Achieve or exceed personal sales targets, renewals, and ancillary service goals.
  • Engage in monthly pre-planning activities, including strategic outreach to secure member referrals.
  • Build strong rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and participate in all club services, programs, and products.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales is preferred.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Confidence in working with an incentive-based compensation structure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A friendly, energetic, and personable demeanor.
  • A personal commitment to health and fitness.
  • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be available to work the last four days of each month.

Compensation Transparency: $17 per hour, with variable bonuses and commission plans offering potential total earnings of $80,000-$100,000 for meeting sales targets.
