Job Overview

Hard Rock International (HRI) is a globally recognized company with venues in over 70 countries, spanning 265 locations. As a FOH Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction, sales growth, and adherence to brand standards and core values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop hourly staff members into Hard Rock brand ambassadors and industry-leading customer service professionals.
  • Provide guidance, support, and recognition to employees to promote a positive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and guests to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.
  • Train and empower employees to exercise good judgment and make decisions regarding guest service satisfaction.
  • Monitor and coach employees on performance, compliance with procedures, and workload.
  • Ensure employees follow safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Manage the weekly work schedule to accommodate employees, volume, and emerging trends.
  • Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners, and investors.
  • Operate ethically to protect the image of Hard Rock.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role with high-volume exposure in a casual-themed, full-service restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
  • Bartending experience is preferred.
  • Influencing training and development is a necessary strength, so a background in training is a plus.

  • High level of business acumen and common sense.

  • Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
  • Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners, and other employees of the organization.
  • Multiple language abilities are a plus, with fluency in English required.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders.
  • Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environments.
  • Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods of time.
