About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our team at NM Law, APC. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for managing case calendars, preparing correspondence, and drafting legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Manage case calendars and provide support to litigation attorneys
  • Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Draft, format, edit, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Assist with trial preparation, including drafting trial exhibits and witness lists
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, such as court reporters and expert witnesses
  • Perform general clerical tasks, such as answering phones, photocopying, scanning, and filing
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent paralegal experience, preferably in litigation
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe is required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Self-motivated individual who can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and writing abilities
