Senior Public Sector Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Sector Business Development Manager to join our team at Brady Industries. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to identify, develop, and maintain national account opportunities and sales within the public sector vertical.
About the Role
- Develop and execute strategies to grow our customer base for large national cooperatives and state contracts in a defined region.
- Negotiate pricing and service strategies with target accounts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Analyze current customer accounts and contract activity, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Communicate activities and results to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Participate in National Account sales strategy development, driving growth and revenue expansion.
- Maintain primary account responsibility for assigned National Accounts, expanding business through internal sales resources.
- Collaborate with Envoy Solutions divisions to coordinate national account programs and enhance overall national account development.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- Previous selling experience, particularly with complex customers in the state and local government vertical.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with expertise in manipulating data and combining reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
