Position Overview

The Registered Clinical Nutrition Specialist plays a vital role in delivering evidence-based nutritional therapy to patients across various age groups who are identified as having nutritional vulnerabilities. This position entails evaluating dietary requirements, implementing medical nutrition interventions, and providing nutritional education to patients and their families.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Science or a related field
  • Certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) are mandatory
  • A minimum of two years of experience in clinical nutrition
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
