Our team is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our effort to ensure the highest level of quality in our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with experience in auditing and compliance management.



The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for conducting internal audits of our projects, company facilities, and assets to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate will also review and recognize deviations in internal audits, develop onsite training programs to mitigate compliance concerns, and maintain and update all records, manuals, and training procedures on multiple locations.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct internal audits for projects, company facilities, and assets to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and recognize deviations in internal audits, and develop corrective action plans to address any issues.
  • Develop onsite training programs to mitigate compliance concerns and ensure that employees understand and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update all records, manuals, and training procedures on multiple locations to ensure that they are accurate and compliant.
  • Provide insights on job sites to identify, evaluate, and control hazards, and ensure that employees are aware of potential risks.
  • Complete site walk-throughs with clients, government agencies, contractors, and other operational entities to ensure that our operations are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly monitor and assess quality control processes to ensure that they are effective and compliant.
  • Document and report any quality-related problems or issues to management and ensure that corrective action is taken.
  • Communicate with operations regarding quality concerns and issues, and work collaboratively with the team to resolve any issues.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Associate of General Sciences Degree (Food Nutrition, Animal Science, Food Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, etc.) or equivalent.
  • Relative work experience of 1-2 years in a quality assurance or related field role.
  • Food manager certificate, preferred.
  • Must be familiar with regulatory requirements, including HACCP, FDA, USDA, and CDC guidelines.
  • Prior HACCP certification, preferred.
  • Travel % - potentially on a rotation, working weekends, etc.
  • 1-2 years of auditing or compliance management experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Experience with problem-solving, decision-making, while being detail and execution-oriented.
  • Certifications related to Quality Assurance or Quality Control.


Benefits:

Cotton Holdings, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.



Location:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be based in Katy, TX, and will be required to travel to various job sites, including projects and company facilities.
