We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Textron Systems. As a key member of our Electronic Systems Domain, you will be responsible for performing requirements analysis, developing architecture models, and identifying technical risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis to understand customer and system end-user needs
  • Develop architecture models to support requirements development and derivation
  • Identify technical risks and opportunities, and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement, test, and validate customer requirements
  • Monitor and adapt emerging technologies to existing and new products
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and project partners
  • Participate in system design reviews and integration, test, and requirements validation activities
  • Create and maintain requirements database and system documentation
  • Evaluate, characterize, and prioritize product defects, and communicate problems to team members, management, vendors, and customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field with 5 years of experience
  • Analytical, resourceful, and detailed-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in computer software packages (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, work in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with others
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a government security clearance
