About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare and serving as a leader of positive change.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing practices to provide safe and excellent patient care, utilizing the latest advancements in technology and research.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately, leveraging bar-scanning and documentation technologies to minimize errors.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing electronic documentation systems.
  • Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuum of care.
  • Meet the requirements for a current and valid RN license in the State of New Jersey and BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
  • Possess at least 1 year of nursing experience, with oncology nursing experience preferred.
  • Be willing to attend classroom and clinical training to become chemotherapy competent within six months of hire.
Requirements
  • Current and valid RN license in the State of New Jersey.
  • BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Oncology nursing experience preferred.
