Key Responsibilities

  • Establish comprehensive security measures to protect sensitive company data from both internal and external risks.
  • Oversee daily monitoring for suspicious activities, execute defensive strategies, and document incidents as they arise.
  • Work collaboratively with the cybersecurity team to innovate new protective measures and enhance existing protocols to stay ahead of cyber threats.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of security policies, procedures, standards, and controls.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybercrime tactics and trends.

Essential Qualifications

  • Gather and analyze data on current security protocols for risk assessment, and produce regular reports on system status.
  • Continuously monitor for potential attacks and activate appropriate defensive measures in the event of a breach.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and collaborate with the cybersecurity team to refine defensive strategies as needed.
  • Configure antivirus solutions, firewalls, data centers, and software updates with a focus on security.
  • Manage user access, monitor related activities, and ensure all changes to information are authorized.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees to mitigate risks from phishing and other cyber threats.

Required Skills

  • Three to five years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and forensic skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, information technology, or a related discipline.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
