Job Title: Application Analyst III

This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and leading integrated solutions for application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS). The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies, as well as working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support integrated solutions for application and data integration
  • Provide expert application and technical support to ensure optimal planning, documentation, validation, and maintenance of applications
  • Lead complex triage and troubleshooting assistance to product clients
  • Engage in problem management identification, classification, and resolution activities within applications
  • Lead large and complex applications efforts and provide support to other team members as a mentor
Requirements:
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Expert knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure
  • Working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) messaging standards and structure, as well as Application Program Interfaces (APIs)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Radiation Oncology experience
  • Rad Onc mixed vendor environment with a focus on OIS/TPS systems
  • Support of clinical applications
  • General understanding of technical infrastructure and dependencies
  • Knowledge of DICOM & HL7
  • Project Management, design, testing, and technical functions
  • Software upgrades, installations, and maintenance
  • Implementation, troubleshooting and training
  • Knowledge/experience of Microsoft, Citrix, Remote access
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance guidelines relevant to radiation oncology IS systems
